Default 3.7 V6 dawdling

I bought a 2011 Mustang V6 and I am having a problem with throttle hesitation when pulling out from a rolling stop. Anyone else having problems or an idea of what is going on?

Automatic I assume?

I also get quite a bit of throttle lag with my auto 2011 in some certain areas but not too often. I do agree though it can be pretty frustrating. From what I understand a custom tune should pretty much (if not completely) fix the issue by changing the shift points.

Depending on how many miles you have, some of it may go away as the car learns your driving habits. Throttle lag was a big deal for the 05-early 07 cars too. It was a combination of two things, a mechanical thing (drive by wire throttle sensor at the pedal adjustment) and a software thing (adaptive learning).

There's also a way to recalibrate the throttle on the 05-09 cars to help get rid of some of that. I don't know if it exists on the 2010/2011?

Not sure, but I believe all you do for the 05-09s is disconnect the negative wire from the battery for like a half an hour.

Get a SCT tuner from AM/Bama or from whom you choose. It took care of everything. Chrisp throttle response, better power.

I have a 2011 with only 20,000 miles on it and I notice a slight hesitation mostly when its cold,it sometimes slow to shift from 2nd into 1st when I pull out of my complex.Sometimes I can hear it clunk slightly also when it goes into first even when warm.

Tried a K&N air filter? My wife's Honda Pilot new, same problem and her dad's mew Toyota van as well. minor delay in acceleration.

Fixed both of their cars as it lets more air in and sounds cool under full throttle.

Nice gas mileage increases as well.
