MCA Edition Pkg. Wheel Question
And while we're on the subject of tires.
I didn't know this till yesterday but, I was cleaning out my trunk and decided to check out the spare tire only to discover that it doesn't have one nor a jack.
There's only a temporary mobility kit which is only a small 12V air compressor and fix a flat combo unit. New for 2011 my dealer told me.
So that's all fine and dandy but what happens if I get a flat and the tire gets shredded?
I'll tell you what happens, you get to sit on the side of the road for a few hours while Ford roadside service calls somebody to come help.
I'm sure Ford probably did this to cut cost and maybe save weight.
But I for one would prefer a compact temporary spare tire and a jack over that temporary mobility kit.
That way I could at least put the spare on and be on my way and not have to wait on anybody.
Ok, stepping off the soap box now. lol
look at this website see it's 5% differ. which not recommended, yep no spare, just hope tpms lets you know early

that's why I said 245/50R18 is closest, might be able to sqeeze a 255 but that would be pushing...a 255/45/18 if the rim will let it will work

Hmmmm, so 245/40R18 wouldn't fit right on a 8" rim?

You need ...
17" Size Temp Spare Tire from a 2005-10 GT
and
Jack Kit from any 2005-11 Mustang
Both are listed on E-Bay fairly often, I picked up a "never on the ground spare" from a 2007 GT for $104 delivered and a complete / never used Jack Kit for under $60 delivered.
A slightly smaller 17" spare was also used on later V6 Mustangs but it is narower and on a heavier steel wheel where the GT spare wheel is aluminum.
You could also use the 18" Temp Spare from a 2011 GT, but these will not be common E-Bay items for a few years.
You could get the Jack, all the Hardware, and the mini-spare wheel from your local Ford dealer too (temp spare tire is not a Ford part, so dealer would source from a tire supplier) if you don't have the patience to wait for an E-Bay listing to pop up but be prepared as retail for it all is over $400.
