If I have to change the rear tire I'll just put on the temp spare in place of one of the front tires and put that full size front tire on the rear. (clutch pak saved)
It will be a little extra work but I could still get back on the road faster that way then waiting for ford road side service to call somebody to come help me.
I'll also carry a radial plug tool kit & plugs in the car as well, along with keeping the temporary mobility kit in the car too. (mainly for the air pump usage)

Thats a good plan!

As I understand it, and I got this info second hand so take it for what it's worth, Ford was worried about warranty claims on the new limited slip diff if someone used the wrong spare. And since ford uses so many different wheel packages now that won't even fit it the spare tire hole in the trunk, they thought the air pump, fixaflat, and free roadside assistance was a cheaper option. (cheaper for them, inconvineint for us)

Actually, I put a string plug kit in my car as soon as I realised ford expected us to use the "fixa flat" method.

I'd NEVER put that crap they send in my tires. Here they are worried about diff warranty claims, and they expect me to ruin the TPMS sensor by putting sealant in the tire.

They would've been better off just using "runflat" tires from the factory, IMHO.
