Default 3.7L Code Name?

Ford used 'Coyote' as the code name for the 5.0L. Did they have a code name for the 3.7L?

'Road Runner' would have been logical but Chrysler might have taken exception.

'Wile E.' would have been good too.

'Pup' would be a young coyote.

Maybe '227 Dearborn Dr.'?

Anyone?

I believe the Duratec 37 is part of the "Cyclone" engine family. so Cyclone?

Thanks for the link, rmurad38.

"Cyclone" is cool. I'm surprised people aren't using it around here.

"Duratec 37" doesn't cut it. There were a lot of bad "Duratec" engines and it has negative connotations for me.

I think I'm going with "Cyclone 37".

Just wait to see if they come out with one.

Why are you so stoked for a nickname of the 3.7?
You could still just use the S197 code rather than making up something yourself that no one else gets.

How about "DuraTICK" 37, since some of us with cars built before Early June have a defect in our left cylinder head making a ticking noise that is not a good sign.
