I had the MRT before the corsas. They have a sweet sound, for sure, but INSIDE the car they drone so bad they make your head hurt.

Yep listen to funster, he has had most pipes than any of us out here....I went with the borla's stingers and have zero regrets, loud,,aggresive, no drone, perfect fit....i'm sure others other than NRT are fine too, but I had corsa's, but now that have borla, I'm glad I have borla now.

Damn, you gotta be kidding me!! I fell in love with this exhaust until I just read you post....

"Enter the all-new MRT Interceptor Axle-back System for 2011 V6 Mustangs.

We wanted an exhaust system that would do the new pony justice, and we believe our engineering team has accomplished just that with the new MRT Interceptor performance exhaust. The new MRT Interceptor Axle-Back is designed to give your 2011 Mustang the performance exhaust sound it deserves without any annoying resonance."

The above was taken directly from their "press release" for this exhaust system. Are you saying it's a like of BS, Funster? I really need to know because I couldn't stand the annoying drone from my SRT-4 Borla exhaust and actually added another muffler to the system!!!!

Is it like you can even hold a conversation and it interrupts the sound quality of the stereo?? I need to know these things before I buy!!

I can say the new borla s-type have no drone, and neither do the corsa, i never had or heard MRT but I had MAC too, and they would hum your ears off at 1800 to 2100 rpm and when cruising..

Just installed the Magnaflow's.....AWSOME. Nice and quiet at idle and low RPM driving, but when you stand on it they sound great. Here are a things for anyone considering this mod:
-No drone inside the car.
-Looks a million times better than the stock mufflers.
-Stock muffler hit the scales at 23.5lbs each, and the Magnaflows are 12.5lbs each.
-Nice and quiet when you want it to be.

I'm sure those are nice have heard good remarks about them, the borlas are 15 #'s each..but I like little extra weight in rear anyways...probably why the 25 # nascar jack and 40 #'s worth tool box in my trunk keep me from getting better mpg's lol..not have those two things just don't give me that warm and fuzzy...

Ah, well.... These things are different to different people I suppose.

In top cog at less than 50 flooring the gas made you feel the exhaust in your chest without any tone from the engine. I would call that resonance.

But to put it in more tangible terms, I sold the MRT system at a loss to buy the Corsas and have no regrets.

Hope this helps.
