Default 3.7L bro's, get in here!

I need a little help deciding what my first performance mod should be. My budget just got a lot smaller. So, I am not going to be able to pull off my original plan of new speakers, tints, JLT CAI, tune, and axle back exhaust. I am putting the new speakers in this weekend because the base 4 speakers are probably the worst I have ever heard. I know, I know, I bought a base model. But, they are horrible. I can probably get the speakers, tints, and one other thing done this spring and summer. What would you do? What would be the best of the three to start with? Tune? I noticed at AM I can always update the tune later when I can afford the rest. Or is the exhaust or CAI a better starting point. Help a fellow 3.7L brotha out.

Thanks!

the stock air box flows well , once your deep in mods like headers then think about cai.

used k & n , i seen peeps here selling cheap.

some nice quality mufflers like m-80's they cost like 80-90 dollars on am with discount, cant beat these for the price they are even polished.

A tune will give more power to use and if an auto, the difference in shifting is remarkable. Exhaust may give a little power, make the car sound better to you and others who are near you.

Your choice, more actual power or a meaner sound.

I have a manual transmission, and have both Bassani axleback mufflers & a Bama tune. For me a good sounding exhaust is far more satisfying while driving than the extra 12-18 hp the tune produces.

After the speakers and tint. I can spend $300-$400 on something else. Unless the tax fairy gives me more, which by my estimates, unlikely. I might be able put $500.00 together for exhaust if that is the route I decide to go. Just may have to wait till the summer. This is going to be a tough decision. I figured $1200 for CAI, tuner, and magnaflow axle back exhaust.

Very good point, forgot you have a manual. Was going to ask if the tuner made your Stang shift better. DOPE

It says those will fit up to a 2004. Can I just switch out the mufflers on my 2011? I am a fan of magnaflow. Mild sound until you step on it and i have never had drone with them.

i doubt you could just switch them out , its just a muffler not the full axleback . but if you find a cheap local muffler shop to modify , you would save yourself some green.

you have lots of options , magnaflows are a good mufflers as well.
