Default Axelback Question

I've asked on s197 forum as well as my shop, and got a different answer. What is ya'lls take?

Do axelbacks off of the gt's fit on the new 3.7 v6's? Shop says yes, s197 forums says no...I wouldn't see why not, unless the piping is different.

Any input?

Thanks guys!

no, they use a different setup. When buying an exhaust, make sure it says (11-12 v6).

Mufflers and hangers are the same, BUT pipe diameter is different. GT mufflers will not work on the V6. For what it's worth, put magnaflow street axle-backs on our 2011 V6, two thumbs up. Nice and mellow at idle and cruising speeds, but sound great when you stand on it.
