Default V6 MT owners PLEASE read and comment!

I have a 2011 V6 2.73 6speed. I have read about the transmission problems. I bought my car in May of 2010 and have 26000 miles now and I think I may have more of a story then others. (lawsuit, CCT escalations, PVT specialists, clutch replacement, pedal replacement, TSB's)

Here is my issue.

When my car is on a level surface, in first gear and the clutch pedal is all the way to the floor. I can rev the engine, and at 3500 rpms, the car starts accelerating. (The transmission and engine are obviously making contact)

It is my understanding that I should be able to rev the car all the way to redline, and if my foot is pressing the clutch all the way to the floor that the car should act like it is in neutral and should stay motionless.

I need to know if others with the same car, preferably 2011, but 12 and 13 V6's with manuals please respond to. If you are on a level surface and you press your clutch pedal all the way down, put the car in first gear, rev the engine, does your car start accelerating or does it stay still.

Any links to youtube with the same scenario above would be appreciated.

I plan to share so much more with this forum very soon if you want to hear it. I would love the feedback.

Black, what do you mean by accelerating? Does it creep forward or take off quickly?

By acceleration I mean that it gains speed. What I am getting at is its not a slow screep that could be associated with gravity.

With the pedal to the floor the car should stay stationary (minus gravity of course). I have a 2012 V6 Manual and it does stay stationary.

It sounds like the bolts have backed out a bit on your clutch. I believe there is a TSB for that.

Mownt. Thank you for your feedback. My car has been to dealers 6 times. I sued and got 7k for the transmission issues. They did a final inspection and "fixed" it, but the problems are coming back. The engineers tell me the car should move when I do the above.

I told them to show me another car do the same thing and he promised we would meet up soon. This feedback helps me tremondously in my next steps.

Yeah that is definetly a problem. I had that same issue and they had to replace my clutch/flywheel assembly since it was bad.

You need to take that in and have it fixed.

If it moves, sounds like the clutch is partially engaged and slipping.

As long as other cars do not do this I have a leg to complain from. I will post the whole story at home later.

You might want to direct those engineers to:
