You'll definitely be happy with a Bama custom tune. We've already sent out a ton of tunes for 3.7L v6 cars and have a lot of great feedback. Not only are we extremely experienced with tuning Mustangs in general, but we helped start the tuning standard for the 3.7L v6 Mustangs with our 2011 Mustang project car. This was the first 3.7L v6 in the 11's!

Aside from all of that, you'll also be enrolled into our Free Tunes for Life program, which is very helpful when you're adding small mods at a time. Whenever you need new updated tunes, all you have to do is send in a new tuning form on our AM website and 3 new custom Bama tunes will be sent to you via email, free!

I'm sure you won't regret going with Bama for tunes. Do a quick search on the forum and see how many other guys are happy running out tunes, too!

If you have any questions, just give me a shout!

Shane

I do have a couple of questions. I have some experience with tuners for quads, but none in cars. I've been debating because all the preset maps I've used in the past were not accurate. The only way I could get a really good tune was on a dyno. Quads dont have O2 sensors, so you had to run a tuner with any mods. Cars obviously dont have that issue so my two questions are;
1) Where do your pre set maps come from? customers, your shop, guestimates based off similar mods?
2)What changes does the tuner make? fuel delivery and timing I assume, but what else? I have a MT, so shift points are not a factor.
Thanks for your help

For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and access to an entire warehouse of AM parts, testing on the street/track and dyno (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC) is a frequent event. we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you.

As for changes made- SCT SF3 tuners give us full access to your Mustangs PCM. We can/and do, literally change every table in the PCM. Everything from spark advance, to AFR, to fan temps, to idle speed, etc. If you have a special request for any of these settings, you can even call into our Bama Team @ 888.226.9764 and they'll hook you up!

Hope this helps! Let me know if there's anything else I can do.

You can't go wrong with a Bama tune... I know from both Mustangs I've owned that their tunes are absolutely amazing, plus the customer service is bar none.

Bama and Brenspeed have the best reputation around here from my experience.
Of course there's always the option of a Dyno tune but make sure you find a GOOD one that has a person that knows what the heck he is doing.

Again you cant go wrong with Bama.
They make EXCELLENT tunes.
And yes.. their customer service is top notch, bar none.
Personally that is definitely what I would go with if I were you.
