Default Select a Shift Issue

Hi all, I have a 2014 3.7 auto with the PP.

When I first got the car, select a shift worked fine, I could upshift and downshift whenever I wanted/needed to. At about 4000 miles or so, it would not shift down anymore no matter how many times you pressed down, it will only shift down to 1 when you come from a stop from 4 to 6. If you are driving in any gear at any speed, it will not down shift no matter what. At about 8000 miles (I am at 8100 currently), it will now not want to upshift, it had upshifted 100% fine until just recently, not it does not do it about 50% of the time when I press the button to do so.

The button itself seems to be working but for some reason it will just not shift like it is supposed to, I was just wondering if there is some setting somewhere that is causing this, etc. My dealership is very bad and I was hoping to avoid taking it in but I may have no choice.

I've noticed the same thing on my 2014. I have about 6K on the car and now the upshift button is real flakey. Downshift is fine...

I am Thehunterooo but on a different account, I took mine in about 4 weeks ago and they changed out the actual switch itself (actually the whole shift **** assembly). It works 100% great now, if the car will not shift up or down with the switch when it is supposed to then it needs to be changed out. Only took them about 20 minutes to do it as well haha, good luck!
