Any updates on this?

My new (to me) 2013 V6 with 80K miles seems to have a very slight vibration on lower rpm deceleration / engine braking, almost feels like one of those lane monitors on newer cars telling you you're drifting out of the lane by inducing a vibration.

I just did a bunch of work on the car.....new tires, new driveshaft and U-joints, new driveshaft loop, new air and oil filters, new fluids in the engine, trans, and rear end, so can't be any of that. The rear gears have a little slop, but no different than any other older vehicle I've owned, and none of those do anything like this. The clutch seems like the obvious suspect, but I also wonder if it's something to do with the factory tune on the engine. Any of you running an aftermarket tune and still have the same issue?

The Decel vibration is the dual mass Flywheel/Clutch. You get used to it after a while.

Soooo, not going to explode and throw shrapnel into my leg downshifting into a corner at 140mph?

No. I have done rapid decel's on mine at 130 and it is still there, don't think another 10 MPH will kill it.

Default 2012 6 spd v6 same issue

I'm guessing it's the dual mass flywheel as well I hope somone had swapped it out and can confirm this is the issue/fix I'll be replacing my flywheel qhen it's time for a. New clutch as well

At an event last weekend, I got the same vibration, but much more pronounced, in the 110-120 mph range under engine braking. I'm still not convinced it's the clutch, especially after reading that this engine does have a cylinder deactivation on decel to save fuel, but I'll probably be doing the clutch and flywheel this winter, so we should have an answer.

nah I think if that was the case it would happen all the time. Its consistant with engine braking at around 2700rpm

yeah, the whole car is really tight. 80k miles, adult owned as far as I can tell. Trans mount seemed fine when I installed the driveshaft loop and new driveshaft. Vibration was there with the old driveshaft, and the now with the new one. Goes away the instant you press in the clutch.
