List of possible causes for vibration
I have a pretty good vibration at 65+ that shakes my shifter around. I'm hoping it's not an internal problem and want to try and fix anything else that it could be. All I can think of is motor and trans mounts. I looked at them and they're not chewed up, but do they lose their durability and function regardless of looks? Also I guess it's possible for the transmission crossmember to be weakened? Other than the mounts is it possibly to put the driveshaft on incorrectly? What other possibilities are there?

the mounts can tear and look good sitting, when u hit the gas they can move, the drive shafts are balanced i can be out. could be slop in the ring and pinion, some possibles hard to judge not being there.
to check the mounts take a jack and 2x4 and put under the pan and easily jack up, dont get crazy and crimp the pan, with a small amount of pressure and a good led light u can inspect the rubber in on the mount to see if it is cracked.
the balancer on the engine could be bad but they normally vibrate at idle, look behind it and see if the rubber has eased out from the middle if any at all is out it can cause a vibration in higher rpm range. maybe that will help you out some.

Start car foot on brake put in foward gear (have a assistant do this) let out on clutch while giving a bit of throttle did motor jump up? Do the same thing in reverse. Pretty visual and quick. For trans go under and try prying on trans while looking at mount. Drive shaft can be assembled wrong 180* off when putting in new u joints. Mark both pieces. At flange on rear can be put on 4 different places one in best.

what about a bent driveshaft. I had the same thing happen a few years ago, my speed was 55-60 and would go away if I went faster or slower. Finally figured out it was a bent drive shaft. I bought a new aluminum shaft and it fixed the problem.
