how much power can a 351w block take
so how much power could 351w take if the 351w could make alot of power. i'm wondering beacuse i'm making around 400 horse na then a 100shot of nitrous, now i'm about to turbo it and i'm going to run a 25 shot to spool the turbo off the line. but it got me wondering how much power could it handle the motor is out of 92 f250 it has caststeel crank and forged h-beam rods forged pistons
thanks i need to have the little guy last for a while untill i can afforad an aftermarket block.

so i can get it to 550-600 horse and not crack the block? i have gt 45 ball bearing turbo that can produce 1000horse but i will not be able to aford that. i figure i get it fabbed up and just run low boost at around 525 horse and then when i take it to the track just do a 25-50 shot off the line with my slicks but that brings me to another thing i know the t-5 will not handle it oh well

I was going to say....you'll crack the T5 before the block in any case. I know a buddy who ran a stock 302 making 450 horses and cracked the block, but the TKO3556 was up to the challenge. If money is tight, I guess you'll play the waiting game with the tranny, but those Tremecs are solid as rocks. The Windsor should do 600hp and stay together if you have it tuned correctly.

get a g force, not a tremec. a tremec is notchy kinda ruff shifting. but a g force wines a lil. so take your pic. or you can go with a t-56 viper trans thats going in mine.

yeah, cause a tremec wasn't designed for the weak wristed...
my tko is notchy on street duty, but racing it's smooth as butter.
remember the 351 w is a 302 block.

The g-force is fine if your car is light. If you have a sn-95 car that hasn't been on a serious diet I wouldn't recommend it. As for the 351w block, the stock production block are good for 500 rwhp N/A, 650-700 RWHP boosted. They don't like lots of RPM's. Under boosted applications the tune is critical to survival. The SVO sportsman blocks will go just past 1000 RWHP. My last 408 with an X-trim went to 1100 without reving past 6500.

the block is your weak link.
Most people say to go with Dart block
over 500 hp.
You can probably get by for a while
but dont be surprised if it comes apart on
you one day.
