And would any 83-93 mustang 5.0s have the same firing order? or just the HO version, or are all 5.0s in those year HO?
Long tubes...not sure what you were asking but you do need specific headers for the swap....

Oil pan... FRPP has a swap kit for like $120 that includes the pan, pick up and dipstick tube..very affordable and no mods needed..

radiator....bigger will always help but a stock 5.0 radiator will work if its in proper working order.

water pump.....depends on if you go with the serpentine setup or stick with old school v belts....serp-stock 5.0 pump, v belt- whatever you got the engine from...

Front springs.... most aftermarket springs are stiff enough for the swap. B springs and SVE springs (same red springs as CJ pony parts) would be too soft for it IMO..

firing order.....86-95 mustang v8's all had the same HO firing order along with some Cougars and Tbirds....all else had the non HO firing order...NOW don't get that confused with a carb setup. The firing order is all in what cam you have in the engine. The rotating assembly has nothing to do with it...

If you can't hit 500hp with a built 408 then something is wrong.......

tri angle valve job = 3 angle valve job...... TRI=3

I have a 84 with a 5.8 in it. We did cut the hood n mold in a scoup but were also running a tunnel ram and alcohol. My father used to dirt track race with me and when his car was done we put it all in a fox body! Awesome fun hot rod. I can get you pics from start to finish! Its a tight fit but shes in there!
