out 351 is getting a build either way, the guestion is should we at least get a 393 stroker?
how much more work is it vs a normal 351?
also thank you black 89, i kept hearing that the pan would not fit on here but with no reasoning and a lot of engine people i know irl say the 302 and 351 used the same pan so i was confused.
this is the stroker kit we were looking at

depending on the build 30#'s might be fine...

I was told by the owner of the truck, and owner of a transmission shop that the trans was an AOD so I just expected it to be an AOD...

anyway, what do you reccommend? Instead of the Typhoon and 75mm?

TFS R series, Box R, or Spyder intake, 90mm TB, Lightning MAF, 1 7/8" - 3" longtubes, etc etc...

I just looked through everything and couldn't find a 2.3L EFI or 5.0EFI to 5.8W carbed.

My main question is what do you do with the wiring harness

For a stock 351 the typhoon is perfect. The big intakes are for RPM's or boost. You want to match your combo. Bigger is not always better. My current combo, 351w (9 to 1 comp), TFS TW heads (bennett stg 2), custom cam, TFS R intake, 75mm throttle body, 72lbs injectors, Vortech S-trim (12lbs) put 610 rwhp. I spent a few years getting the combo right.

With a 5.0 EFI you will take the 3 harness's and sell them to someone who needs them. The only wiring from the body that is missing after the engine wiring is gone is the temp sending unit. You will wire the distributor and coil yourself (easy with an aftermarket stuff).

They started using roller blocks in 94 with the 351w.

Latemodelrestoration sells the pieces you need to run the serpentine belt in a fox. If you want you can run the stock v-belts with no issues but it looks ugly as hell lol.
