Default 351 build

ok so i have decided on a 351 swap for my 90gt. i am just curious what size h/c/i i will need. would the stcok 5.0 efi hook up to it or would it be better to go with a carb. also will i need different motor mounts. any info would be greatly appreciated. i have graduation and my b-day coming up so im going to try and beg barrow and deal for a start on the parts. i plan on starting with a man o war 4 bolt main block. any info will be greatly appreciated.

carb it. no injectors, vacuum lines, sensors, or comp. and it just screams muscle.

ok one other thing. if i was to get a trick flow h/c/i combo would that transfer over to a 351 block when i got that later or no. because im deciding if i should so i have some more power for my 302 then when i get a 351 block all finished up on the bottom end i could just switch the h/c/i combo over to the 351 block.

You do not need a man o war block for what you are doing... nowhere near it.

i wanted the man o war block so i wouldent have to worry about ever cracking the block. i plan on later down the line adding a small shot of nitrous and supercharging. i dont want to have to worry. i will put a an all forged bottom end in it to. as of now i think im going to do h/c/i on my 302 then transfer it over to the 351 when i get it.

I am doing the same thing with my car, but I have all new parts... everything I am building specifically for the 351(Roller)... Is it possible to have a Gt-40 style lower (EFI) shaved to fit a 351 block??? I have a Fully-ported Gt-40 Lower with a "RAP" Box upper and a 1" Spacer in between... all port-matched... the motor will be bored .030" over,I plan on going with solid motor mounts in mine (Same as 5.0?)... and a TrickFlow Stage 1 (Roller) cam with 1.7 Roller rockers... I'm going with a 10.5:1 compression ratio and throwing a 100shot (Nitrous) on top of it... safe???... 24lb. injectors(Temporary), CNL 73mm MAF, Kirban Fuel Pressure regulator,Accufab 70mm throttle body,Hooker Long-tube 351 swap headers,X-pipe,Spintech mufflers,dumps,3.73 gears, built t-5 transmission, Centerforce Dual-friction clutch, Fidanza Lightweight Flywheel, ford racing aluminum driveshaft, underdrive pulleys, A/C delete, battery relocation,Roush 200 (Ported) heads (Temporary)(Going with Victor Jr.s), and a few other little things... I plan on stripping the car slightly (No A/c,Backseats,lightweight front seats,carpet,etc)... I was hoping to break into the 10's with this car... I had an '84 camaro (I know, eww chevy) with a LOT of spray that ran 10.60's but I sold it, now I want that power from my Weekend Mustang... Possible???

Thanks for any help!!!
Steven...

do you guys think it would be worth it to pull the motor out of a truck? or from a junk yard? if so what year truck would i want to pull it out of and would there be a noticable difference in power or would that come later after i start modding the motor? i have about 1k saved up right now and i am getting ready to graduate so im hoping for more.
