Roller cam 5.8L
#1 is it worth it to get a roller block if you're gonna go turbo and not try to make alot of N/A power?
#2 If it is can someone tell what model/Year vehicles they came in?
TIA,
David

First, what power level are you planing on trying for? The block will only take so much. What electronics are you planning on using? For it to be safe you will need a better system than stock with chip. The roller blocka are from 94-96. Some people will say 93 but the Lightning in 93 did not come with a roller capable block.
I'm gonna put together a 450-500 RWHP package by way of forced induction. I'll either use a tweecer or a MSII. I have a 5.0L block I can bump up to 331 and get that out of but I know that'll be outside limits on the 5.0L block.
I thought I might try to find a roller 5.8L block but I like the roller cams and don't know what year trucks to look in. I know the 199? full size Broncos & trucks had the 5.8L EFI's but am lost when it comes to determining whether they are roller blocks unless I take the lower intake off LOL
TIA
