Default fuel pump ?s

putting carb on 351w in 98 mustang when i turn the key i get a quick burst of fuel from the line and thats it. i thought a fuel pump for fuel injection would pump continuosly (to the regulator i have). the fuel pump was good when i pulled the old motor out so it shouldn't be bad. My next qustion is does that fuel pump need the computer to work? or if i put an inline pump in will i need to eliminate the pump in the tank or will it pull through that one. I'd appreciate some input on what my problem is or suggestions what i can do to solve the problem

For the efi pump to work you need the CCRM and the computer to be wired up.

dont do it!!!! too much fuel pressure!!! even for 2 regulators
you have to put a pump for a carb on it
manual or electric
no EFI pumps!!!!
you can mess up your carb doing that, and start a fire!!!
