I posted this in the 5.0 before I saw this portion, so I will ask here.

Just wondering what might be a good cam for this motor. It's a 74 model and I plan on using it in a '65 Ford pickup. I'm looking for something with a decent lope, broad powerband with stock converter with future plans to upgrade to headers and higher stall. This will be a daily driven truck. I'm thinking about a 750 Holley, but for now just a 600. Any ideas on specs/brands on something like this?

 

im guessing its a 302 motor?
i would go with this cam >>COMPCAM part# 35-414-3
sounds good, all around good power, you can use your factory converter with it,and a holley 600

 

I'm sorry, I didnt' mention the cubic inch. It's a 351 Windsor motor
