Default 351 Piston Choices

Hey guys, I'm going to be building a 351W soon. The motors out of a 80's Ford 2500 van. I am hoping to run AFR 185 Heads w/ a 1.6 RR. I'm not sure of the exact camshaft I'll be using, but I'd imagine something with around .530' Ish lift on the Intake Side. I'm looking for a cost efficient way to build big power, I'm also hoping to run 10:1 compression. Now, would it be wise to Notch my stock pistons. Or install another set? If thats the case, could somebody refer me to a set that will provide what I'm looking for.

www.fordstrokers.com ....... good engine parts dealer, great guy, very knowledgable
sells the Probe/CHP stuff cheapest I've seen.
Talk to him about what stock parts you can re-furb and re-use what you need new.
Recommend going ahead and getting notched forged pistons with the right dish
to give you 10:1 compression. I used 58cc heads and 13cc dish pistons for my 10.1 to 1 c/r

www.camshaftinnovations.com for a cam and head combo
will come with proper cam and heads with proper springs.
Wish I had gotten Canfields from them instead of my AFR 185's .... they cost same and flow better.
I also had to spend more for spring upgrade too.
Canfields from CSI will come with proper springs for the cam.

Get your rebuild kit from fordstrokers.com and get a head/cam combo for
it from CSI, that will be one bad *** engine and if you deal with those guys you'll
get the right parts FOR SURE
