my block is out of a 89 f250, why not build it?
i havent had any problems out of mine.
as long as your not going to put twin turbos, or spray it 500
it will hold up... build it.

Im planning on putting a ****load of spray in it, also thinking about procharging. I was told sometime in the 80's or 90's the blocks were bad. How much HP could this one i have take?

The internals even forged won't be the issues. The mains are only stronger enough to about 600 rwhp then it is on borrowed time. The early 70's blocks and the SVO, DART, type blocks are the only ones that I would take further. The mains will actually start to crack. Even with a girdle.
