Default 351 Swap?

I'm looking at doing either a 351W or 5.0 swap in my POS 4 banger (has no power[:@]) What cars came with a 351, and can the stock oil pan be modded to make it work with the stock K member?

I wanna say you need the oil pan from a 351... Dunno for sure if you can mod the 5.0 one... I'm not for sure which ones came with a 351. I know the Saleen S351's came with them. Maybe a couple others I don't know of. Mine has one though...

the Ford Racing swap pan is so cheap its not worth modding one.
you also have to worry about how the pick-up tube is going to run
there is very little clearance in there for it.
The swap pan with pick-up tube is like $130 from Ford

Then you might be out of luck.... Cause if you find a motor that even cranks for $200 you got one helluva deal. You need to stick aside more than that...

Kinda hard when I'm 15, have no job, and I don't get paid for anything. I can get a complete engine for $200 (or less) at the junk yard around here

like barn said, you can get a 351 w swap oilpan w/pickup dipstick too, pretty cheap
but im not sure if you can put a high volume pump in that pan or not, but if i where you i wouldnt worry about it right now, just put a stock pump in it, especially if its going to be a junk yard motor lol
good luck
