it depends on what year block you have. and im not positive but i dont think roller rocks are relative to using a roller cam

1st. do NOT use a trickflow "302" cam on a 351
long stroke Ford small blocks require different valve timing then a 302 cam.
get a custom cam.

2nd: you can use roller cam, but you have to use the $400-500
conversion lifters that are linked
I decided to just spend that $400-500 on a roller cam block
and save myself a lot of trouble.

Its one of those 6 up or half dozen down things.
spend the money on a more expensive roller cam block
or spend same money on expensive conversion lifters.

just get a lunati or comp cams cam and lifter kit. your going to need the guideplates for the pushrods and lifters, unless they are included, i am not sure. roller rockers are not relative to the roller cam, they are a nie add on, but not necessary, although it just seems to go withit

i may just run a comp cam, but would that be a good h/c/i combo with the trick flow track heat heads and the edelbrock performer air gap intake/?
