Man, i am telling you now. if you want to obtain 400 rwhp, then add a shot of 150. Just get some forged rods with arp's. It will save you tons in the long run. I was going to use stock rods on my 357 clevor (400 rwhp also, then spray) i am now saving for forged. Even though i am on a budget. it will save me the cost or rods later, taking the engine out, tearing it apart, replacing any other fugded parts, and replacing the engine. It will have to be ballanced after new rods are put it, so there is more to the total if it snaps.
