She hasn't been to the track yet and that motor has about 9 or 10 grand behind it without any labor cost. I got a fairly good deal from my machinist whoI am buddys with. She sounds fantastic in my opinion, normaly idling aroung 1200 or 1300 turn it down to 900 or 1000 and it really thumps but hard to keep running, as should be expected heh. It idles about what those two ZO6 vids show but it doesn't sound as raw since i am running it through a set of flowmasters at the moment. Not the best for power but with 13gs in the drivetrain right nowI am out of cash for anything better.

Think I know what im doing or atleast very similar. The last one would be perfect, should meet my goals and then some through a 5speed. Thanks for your help guys I decided im going 408, heavy suspension/weight reduction I should be very pleased.Iwill probablygo with a better block though no? Im most likely going to gofuel injected also, may cost me a little power but meh. Like any project as time goes on after the motor I'll pick away at the other stuff.

A stock 351W block will handle the power you want just fine.

You can go EFI and make it look like a carb with same flow like I did.....
Edlebrock Super Vic EFI intake with 4 barrel TB

Good to hear r.barn. Hey a little off topic but when are your turbos going on your car? Or are they already, last I read you didn't have them installed yet.
