I have a 69 351w. I would to have about 10-12 pounds of boost on it and occasionally spray it with some n20. What kind of compression ratio should I go with? I will probably have fully forged internals too.

 

10.1 max with meth is the highest i would push it

 

That kind of boost I would imagine on pump gas your looking at 8 or 8.5:1, had a little ricer machine that ran 12lbs with a 35 shot. motor lasted 2 years before rods went bad. Had 9.5:1 That little machine was beat ontho.

 

so probably 8.5:1 I would be good?

anyone know whatthe stock compression on a 302 is?

u can get away with 10:1 but i would recommend running meth for added insurance

 

yeah, I'd rather not run meth, I might just run 9:1 or 9.5:1 compression

 

I'm running 9.5-1 and plan on 10-12psi no worries, as long as it's intercooled

intercooling makes a HUGE difference
