Anyone know how much it would cost to get a motor notched?

 

Are you talking about clearanced for a stroker? If so about $100 while its at the machine shop for tanking, boring, yada

Yes if your talking about clearance for a stroker, It costs about 100! I will let you know what I run into then I go to put my 4" (408) stroker cran in. I will most likely have to cut the corner off, right where the oil pump is. But I will be doing the clearance myself. Its easy!

 

yeah i would save the money you only need to do that corner near the oil pump, die grinder and 5 minutes and your set.

 

Yep pretty much! not a whole lot of trouble with 408's!

 

I am buying new heads for my motor and apparently they require me to notch the motor. I am not familiar with notching so your input is a + ! Thanks

 

Oh you mean notching the piston??? For PTV clearance? What heads?
