thanks mantis, your the only one who answered my question, how close to the ground are we talking, if i hit a speed bump am i gonna rip my pan off. do you think the ford swap pan, with only 5 quarts will be sufficient for a393 stroker?

What size pan do you have 1SLO85? I have a AJE K-member also. I havent decided on a pan yet.

1slo85, is the canton pan you have model number 15-670 with the 9 inch rear sump? or is it the t sump pan? is your car lowered any at all??

Another thing is my car is a convertible. So mine is going to be a little lower.

i will also be running vert mounts. 3 or4 inches seems really low to me, i think i am gonnago with the LTD pan, even though it is only 5 quarts and it doesn't have a windage tray or any of that good stuff. i can't risk having my pan ripped offevery time i hit a pothole or speed bump.
