would take that number and run it up a few thousand bux to get anything that isn't gonna fly apart especially if ya need cam, heads, intake, rear end, bottle setup, and pistons

heads at least 1000, might be able to get away with GT-40p heads with alot of port work to save money but not best choice
headers for swap 450cheapest
Nitrous setup cheap 800 not dircet port
8.8rear end since you got the 7.5 in there now is 60 from the junkyard but then ya need gears, posi or spool, axels, wheels, tires thats all at least 1500 bucks, 9" for foxes are alot of money
pistons are 300-400 for decent ones
cam 100-200 depending on what ya get
if ya spin anything over 6000 rpm that 600cfm isn't enough and running lean on nitrous is bad 750 holly 500

Thats$4850 on the bare bones stuff off the top of my head

also I would checkout the sticky at the top of the forum and read up on what the swap entails.

I wanted to get my car going with 10k and I am at 13k right now and its still not ready to go. I am sure most people here will tell you take whatever your thinking and double it and your gonna be somewhere close.

well with cam that would depend on what other parts you got, you really want to match your intake, heads and cam with the rpm range that you think your going to be running, once you figure out what rpm range you want to be in then you can start picking parts. Do some searches using the search feature for things like 351 build or 351 setup and see what other people have done. What it really comes down to is alot of research, go talk to guys at machine shops, or if there is a mustang shop any where near you I would go check them out for ideas since your planning on spending alot of money here.

i'm running 351 with only a set of 30 over forged pistons, windsor jr heads, flat tappet hydraulic cam, vr jr intake, 750 dp carb, 3500 stall, c 4, 373s with a repacked trac lock 8.8 with stock axles , bfg 275 50 15 drag radials and a sniper nitrous kit 150 shot 10.70s @ 125

lose the 600 carb and performer intake, you need at least a 750 and rpm or vr jr intake, also go with a c4 ,a c6 isn't worth the trouble , 8.8 with 31 spline axles will be pretty strong ( i'm running stock 28 spline only because i don't have the money to upgrade right now )
