I got a block out of a 94 F150 for a 150 and i figured couldnt let it go so i took it and i want to put a bunch of **** into it i fugured it up around about 5K to do what i want roughly so idk im finishing looks on the car first then its going big so i got a cam in mine right now and shell **** and get but thanks for the info.
5k will get you a decent built if you don't go with forged crank or a solid roller setup and you keep your carburator in themid price range. Guys around here seem to like fordstrokers.com for the stroker kits and Jay Allen for cam selection.
Goodpicon the 94 block its a roller block so you can go with a roller setup. Also keep in mind that if you have a T-5 in the car that is gonna need substantial renforcement or replacement to handle all the power a 408 is gonna make. TKO 500 or 600 seems to be a good route
