so with those bigger heads how much of a power gain do you think id get and will it still be nice and streetable. Sorry this is my first muscle car as i stated and im not to familiar with carbs and all of that..

+1 on the gapless rings mymachienist told me they are junk 2.

it will lose a little bottom end, but you will not be missing it with a 393 anyway, you will still make what a 302 peaks out at @ 2500 rpms... it will also benefit you when you go to forcing more air into the cylinders(i.e., forced induction or nitrous).

What about cam wise, id kind of like to keep the heads i have now for the time being. I know one guy has said custom grind cams, but i have no idea were to start on that. Any sugestions on which would be best...?

Leave the bottom end alone, unless you have problems. I ran gapless toprings for a while. I had no issues, but didn't see much benefit to it either. They surely aren't worth rebuilding a motor for...
