Default New Build Overheating

I just finished snapping the engine back together on my 351W. I am battling an overheating issue. The themostatand head gaskets are installedthe right way, timing isn't quite set yet. I seem to have air pockets in the coolant system. I was told tojack the car up and refill the radiator, which I didm and itwas low. It seems to still have air pockets. What is the best way to get rid of them?
What temperature should I be looking for as normal? Also, what are you guys setting your timing at?

Default RE: New Build Overheating

I threw a coolant overflow in this weekend and tried my best to bleed the air out of the system. I found a hex nut in the return line from the heater core where it goes into the intake and loosened it until coolant came out. I also threw some Water Wet in with the coolant. Seems to be working well. It hasn't run hotter than 190 since and stays around 180 degrees.
