Never heard of a 5.3 liter Windsor in ANY year....

That's about 323 cubic inches... That isn't even a popular stroker build.

Where did you get the 5.3 number?

there has to be something behind this .... ive found info on the net to also support this and a transmisson shop confirmed the t5 i have is from a 86 1/2 5.3L

chevy's have a 5.3 but no ford motors displace 5.3l stock?

Ford did not make a 5.3 in 86 or any other modern day year they did make a 331 back in the early 70s or late 60s but its a truck engine and a industrial use.. Did you ever think your info is wrong..
