Default What tranny to put behind my Dart 427W

I'm building a 427W from a dart block. The motor will have 225 AFR heads, solid lift healthy cam and some 48# injectors. 9.2:1 compression for twin turbo down the road. I plan on about 500 rwhp, not sure what the torque will end up at, maybe around 450 ft. lbs before the turbo. I'm looking for a manual transmission that will hold it and I dont think that the T5 that was in this sucker will cut it. I'm not really on a tight tight budget, i mean it will take time to get the cash lol but i'm willing to spend it on something that wont blow up. Any suggestions would be great, i know that there are a ton of smart people on here that know their ****. Thanks. Btw, will i have to make any huge modifications to fit this sucker in my 94 mustang? I know it has been done b4.

I'm using a TKO behind my Dart 427. I'v been abusing it pretty heavily the last few years. But my car weighs 1000# less than yours, and that makes a differance.

Either the TKO, or have one of the pros build you a T5.

Yea a TKO may be OK for now..... but if you ever turbo that car I have a feeling you may be looking into a new trans set up again.
