curious about stroker assemblies
i have a plan in the works for a 351w swap. it will be turbo charged (probably 10lbs first). i am curious a 4"stroke crank will yeild around 408CI?? i was wondering what piston do i run. a stock style piston, or do i need a custom sized piston??

The piston diameter will depend on what kind of shape your block is in.
If the bores are clean at .030", then there's no need to go any larger.
As for the other piston specs... that will depend on the rest of your rotating assy.
Even in a 408w, there are a couple of pistons that can work depending on the rod length used.
Check some of the combos listed at the following site to get a feel for the factors...

What block are you planning to run with that boost?

Heres a quick run down of the typical rod and crank used
4.00 inch crank 6.125 rod 1.350 compression height piston
4.00 inch crank 6.200 rod 1.280 compression height piston
4.00 inch crank 6.250 rod 1.235 compression height piston
If none of that makes sense call someone who can help you. I hear these guys are ok
