Default buying 408w stroker kit... where?

Looking to buy a forged 408w stroker kit with h beam rods for my 351w. Anyone know where I can get it from? I remember a sponsor that used to post on this site a couple years back that was letting them go for $1200 shipped. LMK thanks

You might want to call this guy... I was looking for a 351w shortblock and came across this.

Hmm lets see, buy known quality parts from an established vendor or who knows what from who knows who off of craigslist?

Suppose the stuff you get on craigslist is fubar? Back to square one a lot lighter in your wallet.
Dealing with a real business you get a bad part, they replace it.

Seems like a no brainer to me.

Thats true Matt. By the way nevermind about trading my nitrous kit for your 351 block, I dont want to take a chance buying from a non vendor.

lol thats too funny, good thing about craigslist is though that most of the people are local that way you can check it out hands on before buying it.

I sold my 3100 v6 engine and 4t60e trany to someone on craigslist just the other day. I had 59k original miles on the engine and trany was rebuilt 2 years ago. Let it go for $900. The person that came to buy it checked it out before getting it I even let him start up the car it was in and drive it around to check it out. As a good faith I offered a 30 day warranty because I'm that sure of the engine.

You can find nice deals on craigslist, don't let the unknown scare you away.

You forgot to mention the facts that 1. you would be in my town to examine the goods before hand which makes the non vendor issue moot and 2. Even after asking three times you could not identify the kit you have, or jet size, or provide a picture. I can post the pms/emails if you like.

I do business straight, no bs, and for buying a stroker kit I would recommend you go with someone established so you do not get junk and you know who made it. Ironically you can buy an engine block like mine anywhere you like, shipping them is not super cheap. They were all made by Ford, there are no knock-offs of 1974 blocks.
