i would like to put drive gears on my 351w but it has a ks is there a way i can bypass it ?

why a gear drive and I am not sure how to bypass the KS but I am sure it could be done. what are you working on that has a KS and a 351

 

a 91 mustang iam putting the 351w in it

 

is it a aftermarket EFI system? 91 Mustangs did not have a KS. or are you saying there is one on the engine? if so there is no where to hook it up so it wont matter any way. is there any real reason you want the gear drive other then the noise? a good aftermarket Timing chain works great and cost much less.

thats a pretty bad reason to want a gear drive. You will regret it when the gear drive grenades your valvetrain.

and the knock sensor wont affect anything. your stock ECM makes no use of it
