Estimated HP for:

351 bored to 357

its got a 292 comp cam, keith black forged pistons, 289 heads been port and polished,edelbrock performer rpm intake, 750 carb. bbk long tube headers and full exaust.


Was estimated to have 385rwhp by a very knowledgable person... Opinions on HP please! Sorry if its in the wrong section.

 

385 with what 100 shot?

Those heads arent good for anything but compression!
It prolly dosent make that at the crank.

 

less than 300 at the wheels

 

same thing i guessed. what if he threw on some afr205 heads?

 

Then he would be way closer to that over estimated number of 385!

 

How yall think a 306 10-12psi vortech gt40 intake long tube headers 42lb injectors 80mm pro-m DYNO tuned would run against this 357? lol

assuming drag radials and suspension mods on both cars and same gears.

If we are talking about the op combination most likely outcome but with the right stuff i seriously doubt it, Good topend and 4000 stall right gears and slicks, the baby cubes would be toast!

I have a buddy with a 306 that made 498hp to the wheels on the dyno spinning with 3 sizable guys in the hatch and i can outrun him on motor!

It isnt about cuin or power its about overall setups!
