Depending on your cam you will need to make sure you have the correct dizzy gear though.

save your money then, you'd be wise and no need for a vac advance one, msd sells fully tunable ones that use springs only........you get a parts store reman and expect to open it up and retune the advance curve, and add an adjustable vac advance canister, which is the proper way to set it up for your 393.........on parts store remans I've seen as much as a total of 45-50 degrees advance when I try to use them on a performance engine......reason being is the weights and springs are often not designed for such applications or the greater rpm potential you now have.
