i went out on my lunch brake and re callibrated the throttle and i can definatly notice the diffrence. before when i punched from a stop it would take a second to kick in. after the adjustment i made a stop at a light, gunned it and i heard that sooting sound of squealing tires. thanks

This is why I always keep my foot on the brake when I start the car.

Why does it seem that when i punch the gas from a stand still the car starts off slow for just under a second before it kicks in. i understand that this is partly expected from an automatic, but is there anything i can do to improve it?
I have the C&L CAI an XCAL2 and a MRT exhaust, before the CAI and XCAL2 my car would hesitate before it got to rolling, now with just the 87 tune the tire lights up. Major improvement. Warrenty should not be a problem since it only takes 5 minutes to put the factory airbox and reflash it to factory if you are paranoid.

Is this still working for you? I tried it a few times but it never worked for me. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or something but I have never been able to make my tires squeal. Also what is you MPG?

what i had found when i had my untuned AFE setup was that if you are from a stand still, it is better to throttle about 75% instead of 100%, then after a few split seconds, floor it
