Default Hurst Installed!!

I had trouble with the nut drirectly below the stock shifter and getting the damn stock shifter out but finally got it done this morning. Looks great and feels much better than the stock shifter. I'm glad I did it myself because the lowest est. I got on an install was $100. 2 hours install time even for a dumb**** like me.

That's awesome man, did you happen to take any pics? Mine is on order and I'll be installing it in about a couple of weeks.

Are there any short throws that loook stock, I like the clean stock looking shifter, it completes the ensemble on the dashboard.

Here's a quick pic of the install. My camera phone is crappy.

I called a car shop to quote me on labor and those bastards were going to charge me $85 an hour. What a rip off.

I suppose you could put the stock **** back on but I don't know if the boot would fit. I like the white ****, makes it feel a little more like a race car. I have to tell you though, the hurst set up may look funny but it is much more comfortable than the stock shifter. Plus, I have a white car so I can justify the white ****.

I love my Hurst too but I hated the white **** with my interior; it didn't match anything so I got the Tee handle, I love the feel and it looks so retro!
