CAI Help?

RE: CAI Help?
Depends if you want to tune as well. most people get a tune with a CAI. I didn't. I got the K&N filter which doesn't need a tune. Pretty happy with the performance increase. Actually noticed a difference after a few days.
Suggestions without a tune:
1) K&N Aircharger 63
2) AFE
Suggestions with a tune:
1) C&L is a popular choice

RE: CAI Help?
It depends on if you want a tunable CAI or one that does not require a tune. If you plan on getting a tuner get both the CAI and tuner at the same time; Doug at Bamachips sells a great combo as do several others. If you do not plan on a tuner the AFE stage one is a good choice and is appropriate if you decide to get the tuner later; it can be used with or without a tune. Your best bet is probably the combo as you will probably eventually get the tune anyway.

C&L and Tunable Induction are both great intakes with comparable gains. I also hear some good things about the Airaid. The AFE is a great choice if you don't plan on going with a tuner, like the X-cal or Predator.
Doug at Bamachips and Lideo of Alternative Auto have some of the best tunes in the business.
