Thanks for the info on the oil drain plug. I had my car towed to Ford yesterday morning and told them I woke up and found 'red stuff' all over the ground. they refilled the tranny fluid and didnt charge me a dime

Here is a pic of what I hope is the oil pan. I circled in red what I think in the plug. After my mess last weekend with draining the wrong plug I want to be sure this is the right plug. Can any of you guys confirm this? Thanks a bunch!

That's pretty much gotta be it. Everything on the left side of your picture that's aluminum (unpainted) is your transmission, so you don't want to be pulling bolts out of anything back there. That's one of your catalytic converters at the bottom of your photo, with your starter peeking out at the bottom right. The black part with the circled bolt is definitely the oil pan.

Looks just like the plug I pulled to drain my oil.. should be 13mm

I appreciate the help guys. That ended up being the oil plug. It took less then 30 min. to complete the whole process.
