RE: Off brand headers..What to think?
This is actually a local company to me and the people that I know of that has bought from them are VERY happy with their product. When I was looking into building my own turbo setup they was real helpful to me, cause they deal with a lot of high performance products.

sounds good, just is unpredictable because jba and mac are well known and engineered to fit the stang (well the jbas is at least), and i just didnt know if it was a risky thing if they dont fit or fit like people say the macs do

I bought a turbo manifold for my cousins tiburon. The welds were great and the finish on everything was A++ ...at 200 buck plus 40 for shipping , Iam giving it serious though. They cant be worse than macs[&:]

RE: Off brand headers..What to think?
Well, I finally have got some headers on my car...but not the off-brand that I originally ordered.
Initially, the company sent me the wrong ones, some V-8 headers that I have no idea what they went to. After a lengthy wait (over a month, and threats of legal action), they finally sent me JBA shorty headers (which wasn't what I ordered, but I ain't complaining).
Installation was not terribly difficult, once I figured out what was going on. The headers are pretty different from the stock ones and it requires you to reposition some of the mounting brackets for the distributer cap and dipstick so the headers fit flush. Tools included: 1/2in for the header bolts, 15mm for the header/cats connection, and 15/10mm for the brackets that needed to be removed and reposition. Total installation time was near 6 hours (because of the repositioning, and me not reading the directions), but if you knew what you were doing, could be done in 4.
Sound-wise, not too much change. A little deeper with more of a raspy tone. All in all, I like them.
