Default Magnaflow single exhaust??

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about getting a Magnaflow muffler (single exhaust) for my 2007 v6 coupe - (from what I've read, the Magnaflow has low drone but a good, deep sound without being too obnoxiously loud) my question is, which part # do I need to get? Is part # 15889 compatible with the 2007 v6 coupe (magnaflow's webpage only lists '05 and '06 compatibility), and is it easy to install?

Part # 15889 : http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...merican&id=948

TIA!!

I have one installed on my '07. The '05-'06 mufflers are the same. It took me about 45 min to install-very easy. Simply unbolt stock hangers, remove one that is not needed, and reinstall. It fits the opening great and has a polished finish.

I have about 400 miles on it and very pleased. It was alot loader when first installed, but has quieted down. It does have a deeper sound and the exhaust note is noticable, but not annoying.

I got mine on Ebay-here is a link to the auction I won.

Thanks BHRS! It's the single exhaust one right? And is it true - does it give a deep sound, but not too loud, and doesn't make a headachy drone inside the car?

TIA

one of my good friends has the magnaflow single and he has had it for something like 10,000 miles. long time. sounds good. it really isn't much louder than stock, but it has a nice deep tone. i personally like em loud, but it is a very nice sound for someone that doesn't want to go too loud.

I have it on my '06 and I am very pleased with it. Yes there is a drone about 1800-2200 rpm, but it really isn't that bad. It does produce a deep sound. One thing, just make sure you install it right. When I installed it, I noticed an exhaust leak a few weeks later. After remounting it, everything was fine.

Sorry for not getting back sooner. Yes, it is the single exhaust. I would not consider it a headache drone-just noticable.

Since I haven't spent more than a couple miles on the highway since picking her up, my wife and I are going to San Antonio this week on vacation. I will let you know how it sounds after 10 hours or so of driving.

Talk to you later-
