To my knowledge there isn't any aftermarket intakes for our cars. I'm not enough of a gear head to know if there is anything that can be done to increase the air flow. Sorry.

Don't count on it, most of the big mods go to the GT. If you want to open up the airways then you'll have to get it done yourself. But their are heads and cams for our stangs but i wouldn't do business with them after an incident somebody else had with them. SSM that is

Explorer Express could probably fab up a better intake for NA cars if they were inclined. You can get some regrinds from Crane for the cams, you can get the pistons from wiseco, that is what SSM does. As far as heads and the block, you can have any machine shop do it for you. SSM is one of the shops that has a relationship with an engine builder. Delk is another shop and I'm sure all the top shops have relationships to help you out.

I would have to agree with rygen, you'd be better off doin your homework and finding all the right parts yourself. lets just say most people at the 4.0 collective won't be doing business with SSM for their own reasons.

Actually, its a matter that is between SSM and one of their customers (its not a public matter). Outside of that, there are individuals happy with SSM and they have a strong following in the 3.8 world. Are there alternatives? Yes. So do some research, do the math and go with what works best for you.
