Hello, I haven't been on here in a while. My last 2004 mustang was flooded in New Orleans so i had to start over. I have a 2005 mustang V6 and I am looking for the loudest, LOUDEST flowmaster muffler available. I had original 40's on the 04 and they were nice! But i want louder. has anybody heard the new flowmaster 44's? I don't care about deepness because all flomaster's sound good. I just want a LOUD *** GROWL at IDLE! I would also consider the Loudmouf SLP. I know a V6 will never sound like a V8, but i want to get as close as possible without using glasspacks. I plan to use a H pipe as well.

Put a light kit on the mustang or is that your car in those pics? Looks like a GT to me...As for exhaust, I'm probably going to go with some Dynomax Ultraflows and JBA Headers. If the Dynomax doesn't perform (soundwise) like I want it to, I've got a spare Flowmaster Street 40 in my garage from my last car. Flowmaster has always been there for me but I've heard some good things about the DynoMax's too...we'll see. Enough of my own interests...(I get carried away easily). I'd recommend you stay with Flowmaster since you know their product but if you want to expirement with the Loudmouths (I hear they are also VERY Good) then go right ahead; after all that's how Flowmaster got so popular...

Yes, that is my car in the photos as well as my bike, so if you got a V8, I got something for you! Anyway, is the SLP loudmouf much louder than flowmaster? Also, has anyone heard these new flowmaster 44's?

By the way I have a stock 05 V6 myself...no V8 here...can't afford to drive a V8 anymore with gas going up like it is...Behind the wheel of my V6 I get the urge every once in a while to "floor it"...doing that in a V8 will cost me a little more... So I figured I would just spend all the money I'm saving and put it towards a nice body kit, new exhaust and later on a SuperCharger. And of course new wheels and some low profile tires...

it seems like the LOUDMOUTH SLP has no mufflers, just tubes. I want the muffler type exhaust so people can see the GT look. Im still kind of unsure of what to get

I hear ya! I might sell my bike to get some 20" rims and lambo doors to give it that show room effect. later i will just buy the GT rear bumper and side skirts with all the emblems and WHA-LA!

Your talkin about the Suicide Doors? That would definately be a nice touch...RELATIVELY inexpensive the last time I checked...All you really need to do is get the Hinge Kit that converts it and your 75% done...all you would need then are doors...but prices on those vary just like wheels...lol. I was also looking at some 20" wheels with a StreetScene rear end. Here are some pics of the Wheels and BackEnd I'm looking at.
