mine had the same thing, took to ford and they replaced some gas related, gas pump or something, all i knew was that my car stunk like gas til a day later, but it doesnt lag anymore ;-)

Adding the duals fixed it.
Still pings like a B**** though and they can't find anything wrong...

with the pinging you mentioned is that when you rev with the clutch in it bounces at about 4000rpm?
ill let you guys know how adding my duals fixes my prob when i get them on

This is REAL pinging!
Cruisin with anmoderate pedal past 90 (2500 RPMs) and R A T T L E !!!!!
Foot to floor past 100 and R A T T L E !!!!!
Oh boy, just like the good old days of running 10.5:1 slugs with unleaded 91.... OUCH!!!!!!!
The dealer confirmed the problem, but everything comes up OK.
They even replaced the MAF but that only made it WORSE!!!!!!!!!!
I have to live with it till next year when I buy a tuner...

If I had to wait a year to get my $20,000 car to run right, i would be looking for some quick cash...Grandma can i borrow $600??? LOL...when you do get it you will love it. and kick yourself for not getting it sooner...
