If you are are mainly doing off-1/4-strip racing, keep the front sway bar. It is one of those things that people take off when they are really looking to reduce their times by a few hundredths of a second. However, from the looks of it, it is a pretty easy job. I am guessing 30mins to 2 hours, depending on how handy you are. Dont quote me on that though, it is just an estimate. If I were you, I would go for 9.5-10in wide rims in the back, you want as much rubber on the ground as possible lol. If you want a specific tire size, I am not the man to ask...when it comes to getting tires I just do what the person at the shop says...lol However, I know that those KDW2's are some of the best tires for gripping on the road. I know that a lot of guys with nitrous like them.

TY, Will these new rims fit with the stock set-up? So u suggest 15X9, 16X9, 17X9? Any suggestion on what rims and how much they's run for 2?Would there be a giant difference of them hooking over stock rims? Would I no be able to hook almost perfect w/4.10's? X-Charger too?How much wouldtires run me for them(all season tires OK)?How wide do u think I can safelygo on a rim that wide?
Thanx again!

For track use, I run 255/16/50 MT ET Street Drag Radials on my stock 16inch V6 rims. They get the job done. If you want a bigger street rim, get some GT take off bullits. Good bang for the buck.

Thanx for the help, have u had any problems running 255's on the stock rims? How would they do on the street with street tires u think? How wide can I go with on GT bullits or do u think the 255 is enough? Thanx again!

dont buy SSM parts or labor. they are very very bad.

how does an Alt pulley ADD 5-10hp??? it might create less drag for the motor to rev up quicker...but HP? i dunno about that. Do a nitrous injection for 300-700 depending on kit and have an extra 100hp or more for the same price. That'sguranteed hp!

I run them on the track only, and on the stock 16 inch rim I would not run them as a daily driven rim. On the GT take off bullets, I think the widest I've seen most go are 245 or 255, but I wouldn't know as I went with 17x9's for mine, which are 275's on the rear.

I think the folks here would need some more info on your experience with SSM other than "very bad" to make an informed decision on them. On the altenator pulley, I think it was Scrming who did a before and after dyno that showed a gain of 3-5 rwhp. I ran it, but took it off as I planned to go after market audio system and did not want to risk any complications with the altenator and/or battery.

I agree on the Nitrous. 75 shot is safe, 100 safe with a tune and you can run 13's all day long with it asuming you have some basic supporting mods.

Gonna do 17X9 bullitt'son rear and 255/50/17Summitomo's or Nitto's. Should I expect excellent traction with this and the X-Charger or would I still have hooking problems? I also have subframes and rear control arms if that will help. Will I also hook nice with my 4.10's and these? Also, after I buy these how much will install cost and would I need an alignment for just the rear wheels?

Thanx!
