Default Next Performance Mod?

Right now I have done all the basic bolt-on's except an Underdrive AlternatorPulley which will wun me around $300 w/belt +install. Everyone says this mod will give me about 5-10rwhp. Other than this the next cheapest performance mod I can think of is a performance camshaft for around $500-$600 w/o install. So here are my questions.
1.How much hp would a performance camshaft give me?
2.What's the next cheapest performance mod after the cam and UDP?
3.How much HP can I get away with on stock injectors and fuel pump?(I think people say 300HP flywheel[&:])
4.What should be my next step after this performance wise(cam,UDP,weight reduction, heads and intake-worth it?)
Thanx ahead of time!

As far as my cam knowledge goes, they move the powerband around, they dont actually add real horsepower.

1. not sure, check out super six motorsports. nobody has ever done the cam shafts on the n/a cars. powerhouse only makes cams for boosted cars

2. cams are not cheap. from the looks of your sig, you are running out of bolt ons. try to save up for f/i? if you dont want to go f/i, look at the SSM stage 3 setup. The stage 2 setup made 230 on an auto

3. unless you got f/i, you dont have to worry. i think people have changed the fuel pumps at around 400rwhp. there is a chart that you can use to figure out the injector thing, you should google that.

4. f/i or SSM stage 3 setup if you dont want f/i

btw, when I refer to "cars", I mean "s197 v6 mustangs"

not true, people pick up a lot of power with them, especially with F/I. Cams+Heads have pushed superchargers into the 400rwhp's

Thanx, yeah I was gonna save up and do the supercharger in march, but before I did I wondered if I could get anymore farely cheap bolt ons done. Gonna do the X-Charger and then I should be happy with my car [sm=yeahsmile.gif]!

if you are going to do f/i, dont get the underdrive cank pulley, you will have to pull it off

what will be worth spending for you, if you are really getting the X, are much much better tires! lol. the 4.10s and the X are not traction friendly. check out BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2's

I here I could go 245 width on my stock rims right? Would that be wide enough for the X and 4.10's if I have a T-Lok? or would u suggest wider rear tires and maybe lighter and wider aftermarket rims? What's ur ideas on the Aluminum DS? Also, do auto's have a flywheel if I was going to do an aluminumone?

Thanx for the info and help!

Forgot to mention, I have rear upper and lower control arms, and subframe connectors for drag suspension mods. What else would u suggest for better traction and weight transfer? Drag Springs(OK with driveshaft?)? Drag Shocks? front sway removal?front radiator support removal? Thanx

If you are only letting loose on the strip, you wont need to get better street tires. Get a set of drag radials and you should be good. I dont drag my car, so I am not the person to be asking lol. However, I do know that BMR makes a front say delete kit which seems to be pretty popular for the 1/4 mile folk. Getting the DS to work with a lowered car is not much of an issue, you just need to push some cable aside or something, because people were having issues of it carving into the DS. I know that MMR has a strut/shock setup that people also like for dragging.

thanks, how long is the install on the BMR front sway delete? Maybe will take it to the Drag Strip but mostly fun cruising and a couple street races here and then. Any suggestion on how wide of street tires I'll need?
